Quality Control

Low Fat Labels aims to provide quality vintage and pre-loved designer goods. Items with any major defects would have a rating of "fair" along with areas of concerns detailed out in description.

Our items can be pretty old and are not in "new" condition; some signs of wear are to be expected. Each item is inspect thoroughly and we are committed to providing as much information as possible about each item's condition. Please carefully read our descriptions and inspect our photos thoroughly before purchasing an item.

Items are graded as excellent, very good, good or fair. 

Excellent: the item is almost like new, unworn condition, or shows very minimal wear. Signs of wear are very minor and only noticeable with a close eye. One example may be a little pull in the fabric or a small mark of 1-3 mm. 

Very Good: the item shows minimal signs of wear and may be slightly more than what would be considered an excellent rated product. Signs are difficult to spot when the garment is worn.

Good: the item shows visible signs of wear. The product is usable but it is evident the item has a past life. One example may be fading of fabric throughout.

Fair: the item shows obvious signs of use and wear. We may source a fabulous piece that could have more wear than we would like or usually source. One example with be a tear in fabric that would need a little TLC to repair. Items like these are priced to reflect this wear.
